Once again, Unilever has opened its doors to young individuals with practical and innovative solutions to challenges with regards to sustainability in the world.
The Unilever Sustainable Living Young Entrepreneurs Awards is open to anyone aged under 30 years old. The competition aims to reward aspiring individuals for their desire for positive change and creativity in the aspects of health and well-being, improving livelihood, empowering women, and reduce environmental impact.
In partnership with Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), and in collaboration with Ashoka, the awards offers more than €200,000 or almost 12 Million Pesos in financial support to chosen seven young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the overall winner with also receive the prestigious HRH The Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize.
Aspiring individuals can submit their entries or nominate individuals through www.changemakers.com/sustliving2014. Applications are still open. Deadline of entries will be on the midnight of the 1st of August, 2014. Afterwards, a couple of activities will take place for the preparation for the awarding of prizes by January, 2015 at London.
